Handthrown Handpainted Mug - One of A Kind
$55.00 USD Sold out
This Mug is thrown by me of earthenware clay on my potter's wheel in my studio in western Massachusetts. The handle is pulled and added once the mug is partly dry. Once dry, the food safe lead free colors are applied with a brush and then the thin black detail lines are painted on with a fine brush.
Every piece I make is totally different. I examine the blank piece of pottery and then decorate it according to how the shape speaks to me. I have a very limited production run each year so know that you are getting an original and rare piece of art.
Each piece is fired twice in a ceramic kiln in my studio in western Massachusetts, USA. It is finished with a gloss glaze.
This mug holds 14 ounces of liquid. The bright orange interior will start off your morning with a jolt of color.
It is dishwasher safe, although I do recommend hand washing.
Approximately 4 1/2" high x 3 1/2'' width plus handle.
Handmade and hand painted and so expect the maker's hand to be apparent as opposed to factory production. This is a one of a kind piece of art for your home.
If shipping charges are less than what USPS costs - especially when combining items in one box, I will refund any excess charges above $2.00.
